My relationship with Pauline started as colleague at the School of Education University of the West Indies in Jamaica but soon morphed into a close personal relationship with us spending much time together mostly at her home. She was an excellent teacher and was always well prepared giving equal attention to her personal appearance!! The close relationship we shared as someehat diminished when I lransfered to the Centre for Gender Studies and further on our retirement and her move to Florida but even then we kept in touch occasionally. Pauline was a faithful and caring friend. Rest well my friend and may light perpetual shine on you!!!
