Celebrating the Life of a Beloved Husband, Father, and Firefighter

Charles “Chuck” Daniel Huber passed away on May 21, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a sense of humor. Born on February 16, 1955, in Miami, Florida, Chuck was the son of George and Marie Huber, whose values shaped him into the devoted husband and father he became.

Raised in Miami, Chuck graduated from Miami Central High School, where his adventurous spirit began to flourish. His zest for life was evident in his love for martial arts, music, and skydiving—a pursuit that led him to meet his future wife, Denise Glaser, who was his skydiving instructor. Their bond was sealed on March 20, 1980, when they married, embarking on a journey filled with shared adventures and unwavering companionship.

Chuck was a man of many passions. He found joy in the thrill of skydiving, the challenge of golf, and the camaraderie of bowling. He also had a profound appreciation for the sport of Jai Alai, embracing its vibrant energy and competitive spirit.

A dedicated public servant, Chuck served 25 years as a Fireman and EMT for the City of Miramar Fire Department. His bravery, compassion, and commitment touched countless lives, earning him the respect and gratitude of his community. His colleagues and friends will forever remember his warmth and tireless dedication.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Denise Glaser; his beloved son, Michael Huber; his sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Terry Malone; his niece, Cheryl Alto; and his nephew, Anthony Malone. While his physical presence has departed, his love, courage, and legacy will be cherished by his family and friends forever.

Chuck Daniel Huber will be remembered not only for his remarkable service and adventurous spirit but also for the love and joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, and may his memory continue to inspire all who loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 30th, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

There is simply not enough space on this page for me to comment meaningfully on the adventures Chuck and I had. So I will just leave it to the readers imagination. Those of you who know me will clearly be smiling at this point…
His friendship was honest and reliable. There is no other person on this planet whom I would trust to have my back more than Chuck. I know this from actual experiences, not just words of wishful thinking.
This relationship was mutual and reciprocal and gave me satisfaction to know he could trust me to be there for him.
Denise, my heartfelt condolences go out to you for the loss of of someone who always made you laugh and was there for you with the honest level of loyalty and
commitment usually only found in cheesy a romantic comedy. He was the real deal.
In whatever lies beyond our life here on this planet, I guarantee Chuck has already got it wired and he is playing it like Led Zeppelin cranked up to 11.
Godspeed old friend, godspeed.
