Caroline Johnson, age 97, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away July 13, 2025. She was born in Dominica on September 12, 1927.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and loving, extended family.
Visitation to be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. At 6:15 PM, the choir of St. Edward Catholic Church will provide music from 6:45 PM until the Prayer Service and Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:15 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
For those unable to attend the visitation, the family is offering LIVE streaming of the St. Edward Catholic Church Choir, followed by a Prayer Service and Tributes of a Lifetime Service on Thursday, July 31, 2025 beginning at 6:15 PM. Funeral Mass to be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church, 19000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33029.

I am sending you love, comfort, and support as you grieve this irreplaceable loss! I was so saddened to hear that Aunty Caroline passed away before I had the time to say goodbye in person. I will remember her fondly for her warmth, great cooking, and so much more. To her credit, she raised a kind, talented, hardworking, brilliant, and loving bunch! Kindly treasure those beautiful memories. Remember, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit” (Psalms 34:18). You are in my prayers!
