Mario Elizondo Solis, age 91, of Miramar, Florida, passed away August 4, 2025. He was born in San Jose, Costa Rica on July 31, 1934.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clementina Elizondo Solis and his daughter, Marie Elizondo Meneses.

Mario is survived by his wife, Alicia Elizondo; daughters: Ana Isabel Elizondo Meneses, Flory Elizondo Meneses, Silvia Elizondo Meneses (Ricardo Ascensio Silva) and Kattia Elizondo Meneses (Jorge Mario Montero Velazco);  step-children: Solange Amado Blunt (Stephen Blunt), Alain Amado (Pilar Piccini) and Yuri Feeney (Daniel Feeney); grandchildren: Juan Guillermo Laporte Elizondo, Marilaura Brizuela Elizondo, Marisol Brizuela Elizondo, Mario Fernando Araujo Elizondo, Georgina Araujo Elizondo, Roberto Araujo Elizondo, Helena Wigoda Elizondo, Ricardo Ascensio Elizondo, Claudia Ascencio Elizondo, Andres Ascencio Elizondo, Andres Montero Elizondo, Mariana Montero Elizondo, Chelsea Faulkender, Garett Faulkender (Samantha Vidal Faulkender), Alexander Amado, Kenzie Feeney, Kelsey Feeney and Kirsten Tsyganok (Georgiy Tsyganok); great-granddaughter, Dakota Tsyganok and sister, Flora Elizondo Solis.

Memorial Gathering to be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM with Tributes of a Lifetime and Prayer Service at 4:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
