Asenet lived, laughed, and loved deeply. Family meant everything to her. She adored her son Nelson Rodriguez, who was the light of her life and her greatest joy. She will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her grandchildren Jacqueline Rodriguez Ramos, Mayling Rodriguez, Nelson Bradley Rodriguez, and Jayline Rodriguez as well as her dear sister Eva Gonzalez, brother Tito Gonzalez, and her many beloved nieces and nephews – who will continue to carry her love and strength within them.
ㅤ
She also found endless happiness in her five great-grandchildren — Brandon Rodriguez, Nicole Ramos, Mariah Pratt, Leonardo Echemendia, and Layla Grace Rodriguez — whose smiles and laughter lit up her world.
ㅤ
And of course, we cannot forget her beloved cat Lucky, her loyal companion who she loved so dearly.
ㅤ
Her presence brought warmth, humor, and elegance to every room she entered. Asenet’s legacy lives on through the love she gave, the memories she created, and the family who will continue to celebrate her remarkable life.
ㅤ
She will be profoundly missed, but her laughter, love, and stylish flair will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

Asenate Lapin a.k.a cookie, met my sister Hilda, who was 10, at the time, and I was 8, thru my Aunt Louisa Banuchi and my cousin Miriam. They were both very good friends. Asenate and I lost touch, until the mid 2000s. When I was looking for a part-time job. Cookie helped me find at David Posneck Jewish Community Center, where she often exercised. Her kindness and unconditional love was commendable. A True Friend I will not forget

Asenate Lapin a.k.a. cookie, met my sister Hilda, then 10yrs old and me 8. Thru my Aunt Louisa Banuchi and cousin Miriam. They were best friends, for decades. I came to be united with Cookie, around the mid 2000s. I was looking for a part-time job. She was inspirational in finding one for me at, David Posneck Jewish Community Center, where she often exercised. I will never forget her kindness and unconditional love.
