Helen Oswald, 98, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 13, 1927, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, Helen lived a long and joyful life filled with laughter, faith, and love.

A vibrant woman known for her sass, wit, and endless energy, Helen brought warmth and joy to every room she entered. She loved to spend time in the kitchen, where her cooking became the heart of countless family gatherings. Whether she was baking, singing, or dancing while preparing a meal, Helen had a special way of turning even ordinary days into cherished memories.

Helen is survived by her beloved brother, Joseph Cioccio, and was preceded in death by her siblings Filomena Lewis and Marco Cioccio. She leaves behind her four devoted children: Kathleen Fleming (husband, Paul), Donald Anselm (wife, Julia), Gina Dotson (husband, Richard), and Armand Rocco (wife, Susan).

Helen was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Paul Fleming (wife, Maria Fleming), Jennifer Peltz (husband, Paul), Laura Pujols (husband, Robert), Kevin Anselm (wife, Marie), Anthony Rocco (wife, Yanina), Lauren Connelly (husband, James), and Ashley Garcia (husband, David). She was also a loving great-grandmother to eleven: Victoria, Trevor, Nina, Lucia, Madison, Brandon, Cameron, Samantha, Zachery, Gianna, and Isaac.

Helen lived her 98 years with a youthful spirit and an appreciation for life’s simple joys. She found adventure in everyday errands, music in the rhythm of her days, and happiness in the company of those she loved most. Her humor, strength, and zest for life will be forever remembered by her family and friends.

A celebration of Helen’s life will be held in her honor, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and love,  just as she would have wanted.
