MARI ROWEN GILLIAM

Maria was born on November 14th, 1968 in Manila Philippines to the late Ezekiel Flores and Londina Omadto. She was the eldest of six children. She lived in the Philippines where she met the love of her life Guy Gilliam. They would marry August 26th, 1987. Maria and Guy had two sons while living in the Philippines, and their third son shortly after the family moved to California.

In 2004, Maria and her family moved to South Florida. Maria joined Bible Baptist Church in 2005, where she was a faithful servant of the Lord and was an active member of the choir, nursery ministry and anywhere she could lend a helping hand or a smiling face.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a confidant and great friend to all who came across her path.

She was preceded in death by her father Ezekiel, her mother Londina, and her husband of 34 years, Guy. Maria is survived by her children, Joshua and his wife Hannah, Ian, Guy Christian; grandchildren Dakota Thompson and Braylen Gilliam.

Memorial Services to be held at her church on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Gathering from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM and Service 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Bible Baptist Church, 7 SW 129th Avenue, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33027.

Graveside Service to be held on Friday November 7, 2025 at 10:30 AM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449. Please meet her family in Lane #1.
