In Loving Memory of Raymonde Michel
Sunrise – Sunset
Passed away October 18, 2025, at 11:25 p.m.
It is with heartfelt love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymonde Michel, a devoted godmother, sister, grandaunt, friend, and gifted seamstress whose life was filled with grace, laughter, and compassion.
Born in Haiti, Raymonde brought with her to the United States the vibrant spirit, strength, and warmth of her homeland. Through her talent as a seamstress, she created beauty with every thread — her work reflecting the care and elegance that defined her life.
Raymonde was known for her impeccable style, her radiant humor, and her nurturing heart. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — a plate of fries, a cold Sprite, and the laughter of those she loved. She was a great cook and often entertained with her famous Haitian meatballs and codfish fritters. Her presence lit up every room, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Elegant, funny, and endlessly caring, Raymonde lived her life with purpose and love. She will be remembered not only for the garments she crafted, but for the warmth she wrapped around her family and friends.
Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts — a reminder of how love, laughter, and grace can make even the smallest moments truly beautiful.
