ALBA LUZ VELEZ, of Miami, Florida, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

She was born on January 12, 1924, in Isabela, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Carmelo Velez and Monserate Padin Velez.

She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Brian Velez. She is survived by her husband, William Velez; her son and daughter-in-law, Osvaldo and Anna Velez; her daughter, Martina Lynn Velez; and her grandchildren, Jorge Alberto, Deanna, Benjamin, Andrew, Jesse, and Eric. She is also survived by her brother, Juan Alberto Velez, and her sister, Elba Iris Nieves.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 12:00 PM, at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Interment will follow at Caballero Rivero Dade North Cemetery.
