With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the peaceful passing of Diana “Mimi” Lynn Lorenzo on January 31, 2026, in Miami, Florida. Born on April 12, 1954, in Washington, D.C., Mimi’s life was a tapestry of love, resilience, and profound kindness.
For 54 beautiful years, Mimi shared a steadfast and devoted marriage with her beloved husband, Dr. Arturo Lorenzo, crafting a life rich with love and laughter. Together, they raised two sons, Arturo C. Lorenzo and Adam C. Lorenzo, who, alongside their spouses Kunié Lorenzo and Maria Kontos Lorenzo, continue to honor Mimi’s legacy of warmth and compassion.
Mimi’s life was further enriched by her seven grandchildren—Sarah, Keiko, Eduardo, Joseph, Naomi, Zoe, and AJ—each of whom inherited her infectious spirit and gentle wisdom. Her love extended to her great-granddaughter, Sylvie June Hamilton, whose life will forever be touched by Mimi’s enduring grace and nurturing presence.
Mimi’s legacy is one of generosity and love, qualities she imparted to all who knew her. Her spirit will forever dwell in the hearts of her family and friends, serving as a beacon of love and inspiration.
As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we celebrate the beautiful life she lived, the lives she touched, and the love she so freely shared. Her memory will continue to shine brightly, guiding and inspiring those she leaves behind. Rest in peace, dear Mimi, knowing your legacy of love will live on eternally.
A private family farewell service will be held on February 12th, 2026 at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care in Pembroke Pines and she will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Doral, Florida.
“Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May the souls of the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.”
