Joseph J. Fraszczak, 76, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Lyndhurst and North Arlington, N.J. before moving to Florida in 1990.
Joseph proudly served in the United States Marines during Vietnam and was an avid New York Yankees Fan.
Before retiring he worked as a mental health technician at Bayview Center for Mental Health in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
While living in New Jersey he worked delivering crystal and china for B. Altman & Company, he was a piano mover for Kearny Movers, and a bouncer at Gaspar’s Restaurant and Night Club in Wayne, N.J.
Joseph was the loving brother of Raymond Fraszczak and his wife Maureen, and Joan Dahl-Lowe; the cherished uncle of Raymond Fraszczak, Tina Fellers, Craig Dahl-Lowe, and Mary Jo Anderson; and the beloved friend for 45 years of Heidi Schmitz. He is also survived by several great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, N.J. on Monday, February 9th at 8:45 a.m. thence to Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 9:45 a.m. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9th from 1-5 P.M. at the funeral home.
