Annette Angelia Florea, born on February 19, 1954, in Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, in Hollywood, Florida. She was 71 years old.

 

Annette graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1972 and went on to build a successful career as a Restaurant Manager. Her work took her to various locations across Ohio, Las Vegas, and Florida, where she dedicated many years to her profession with diligence and care.

 

Annette was raised Roman Catholic and received all of her sacraments at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Canton, Ohio. Her faith remained an important part of her life, as she wore rosary beads around her neck on a daily basis.

 

She had a deep love for boating on Lake Erie, entertaining, dancing, cooking, and watching food shows. Annette cherished spending time with her family—her brother, Michael; sister-in-law Denise; niece Monique (Steve) Bean and nephews: Michael Florea, Christopher (Veronika) Florea and Nicholas (Georgia) Florea; great nieces: Jessica and Brianna; great-nephews: CJ, Brock, Nicky and Romeo. She also found much joy in attending family events and celebrations of her family and dear friends.

 

Annette was predeceased by her siblings: Georgie Florea, Paula Ross, and Michael Florea. She will be remembered as feisty, independent, meticulous, selfless, and deeply loving.

 

May Annette’s memory bring lasting comfort and wonderful memories to all who knew her.

I grew up with Annette since my early grade school years. Her mother and my mother were a very best of friends. She was also a bridesmaid in our wedding. I enjoyed many visits with her in Florida. And she will always be remembered in my heart. God bless your heavenly journey.
