Stephen Dumaoal Jr. (Teve Boy / Hawaii), 47, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away tragically on February 21st, 2026, as the result of a car accident.

A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held on Saturday, March 7th, at 11:30 a.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, 7651 Johnson Street, Hollywood, FL, with Diane Gutierrez officiating.

Stephen was born on January 16, 1979, in Oahu Hawaii, and carried the warmth of the islands in his spirit throughout his life. He graduated from Colonial High School, where he made friendships that lasted a lifetime. On July 7th, 2014, he married the love of his life, Nohelia, and together they built eleven beautiful years of marriage grounded in devotion, laughter, and unwavering partnership.

A skilled carpenter with De Marsico Custom Trim, Stephen was known by everyone as a true “jack of all trades” (Kuleana). Whether he was fixing cars, working with his hands, or helping someone solve a problem, Stephen approached everything with patience, generosity, and heart. He loved billiards, kayaking, and spending time outdoors, but most of all, he loved being surrounded by the people he cared about.

Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Nohelia, along with his parents, sisters, children, nieces, nephews, and a large extended circle of family and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Dumaoal, with whom he is now reunited. The family of Stephen Dumaoal wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the prayers, love, and support shared during this difficult time.

A Hui Hou Stephen boy, although we didn’t see each other in a long time, you folks are always our Ohana. Time cannot erase the fondest childhood memories with all of you and our 4 corners playing ball. Aloha oe, Aloha oe, until we meet again.
