(Abraham) Daniel Johnson. a retired Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy died unexpectedly at home while taking care of his Mother, who was in the hospital.

Danny is survived by his Mother, Rocine Johnson, Brothers, David Johnson & Mark Johnson (Kathy), Sister, Cindy Petryszak (John) and predeceased by his father, William Johnson and brother Jonathan Johnson. He also leaves behind his former wife and friend Marcia, step children- David and Kimberly and numerous nieces and nephews, that thought the world of him.

Danny was born in Huntsville Alabama on April 23, 1960 and moved to South Florida at the age of 5. He attended Nova Elementary, Nova Middle and Nova High School and Broward College. He joined the Navy and was first stationed in San Francisco, then stationed in Key West where he met Marcia who made him a Dad to David and Kimberly. They eventually moved to Doonan Scotland where he was stationed and he finished his career in the Navy stationed in Norfolk, VA. He had the opportunity to travel the world with his career in the Navy.

Danny moved back to South Florida where he opened a business in Davie. He took care of many customers and would not hesitate to provide to those in need who came into his store whether it was formula and diapers or food and clothing. He was an avid reader and an overall nice guy who loved History and Sci Fi.  He will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
