Vuela alto Alina, descansa.

Alina, you taught me things that will benefit me for the rest of my life. Thank you for being a significant part of my life, and guiding me when I’ve needed it. Thanks to you, I had a great career in law enforcement and always surrounded myself with good people.

Your life was far too short, but it made a big impact on the world. I’ll always remember you.

Barbara, words can’t express how heartbroken I am of Alina’s passing. I hope you find comfort in the great memories you share with her.

Though I’ve known Barbara since we were 16 and were in high school I never had the pleasure of meeting Alina but I do know they have made each other happy for 34 years. That’s a lasting love. 💕💕
Barbara, may you find comfort in your family and friends knowing that you are loved by us all.
Stay strong my long time friend.
