ALMA  PANTHER  JOHNS, 84, of the Big Cove Community went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 8th, 2025.

A native of Cherokee she was the daughter of the late Samuel Panther and Emaline Sequoyah.

Alma was a member of the Waterfalls Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ceil Delbert Johns; and her husband Cecil Johns.

She is survived by two sons, William “Bill-Eddie” Johns, Toby Libra Johns, Fourteen grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren and siblings, Alice Kekabah, Loretta Bradley, Jean Bradley, Hattie Panther, Jim Panther, Kenny Panther,  Samuel Panther, Pat Panther, Gloria Panther, Rick Panther and Debbie Panther

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 1oth in North Carolina.

A  gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14th, at 10 am with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at the First Seminole Baptist Church located at 4701 Stirling Road, Davie, Florida 33313 followed by burial at the First Seminole Baptist Cemetery.
