Dearest Nina and family, To say we are sad is not enough. Our love goes out to you and your entire family. It was an honor to have known Andre and we have such good memories of the times spent with both of you. Andre was so interesting to talk to and always in a good mood. We will never forget the pleasure it was to spend time with you both when you visited Montreal. We always had a good time together when we were in Florida as well. May God Bless you and your family forever. With our most sincere condolences and love, Yvon and Josee

In coming to know Andre over the past year, I was fascinated by his story. It seemed to me like one of the great American stories – a young boy starting in elementary school without speaking English, rising from there to retire from a career of honorable service in the Army and become captain of a successful company. And I will never forget, as he was telling me his story, how deeply woven his family was throughout the tapestry of his life. I felt an immediate admiration for him. He seemed to be a man who not only was living well in the moment, from his story he seemed to have been doing it all along. I wish I would have more time to get to know him. My deepest condolences go out to you, Nina, and his family. His family was so important to him, I am sure he was equally important to all of you. You are all very fortunate to have had him in your life for so long. My sincere regards, Scott
