Anne-Marie Jean-Louis was born on December 5th, 1934, in Léogâne, Haiti, to the late Octave Jean-Louis and Diersina. On September 14th, 2024, at the age of 89, Anne-Marie peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories.
Anne-Marie moved to South Florida in the 1970s in pursuit of the American Dream, which she fulfilled with grace and determination. She was an active member of St. James Catholic Church in North Miami and generously served her community through various volunteer efforts.
Anne-Marie had a passion for life and found great joy in traveling, especially taking cruises. She was also known for her exceptional cooking, creating delicious meals that will be remembered fondly by all who were lucky enough to enjoy them.
Above all, her greatest love and pride was being the devoted mother of her only daughter, Marie Florence Jean-Charles.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, September 25th, 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in North Miami. Anne-Marie will be laid to rest at Caballero Rivero Dade North Cemetery.
