Anthony Horace Anderson, born January 2, 1954, in Kingston, Jamaica, to Victoria Gabbidon and Gerol Anderson, was affectionately known as Tony to some and Pops to others. On January 11, 2026, Anthony peacefully transitioned into eternal rest.
Born into a gifted family, Anthony was widely known for his musical talent, especially his remarkable ability to play the keyboard. Music was not simply something he did; it was part of who he was. A devoted musician and a hardworking man, Anthony carried rhythm, wisdom, and purpose wherever he went.
As he transitioned, he was reunited with his beloved mother and father, his brother Garth, and his stepfather, George Epps.
Anthony’s loving presence remains with his devoted wife, Bertha; his brother, Glenroy; his sisters, Pam, Patsy, Ruth, Christine, and Sandra; daughter, Sharri Antrell; and his cherished grandchildren, Nevaeh Arnelle, Kenton Ali, Serenity Victoria, and Kenneth Eli. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who became family.
Known for his fast talking and even faster walking, Anthony had a gift for pouring sweet knowledge into anyone willing to listen. He often encouraged others to “live your life,” reminding them not to allow money to consume their joy or distract them from what truly matters. An advocate for healthy living and healthy eating, yet always willing to share a burger with his daughter, Anthony lived with balance, intention, and love.
His legacy lives on through music, wisdom, laughter, and the many lives he touched.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a Prayer and Tributes of a Lifetime Service beginning at 3:00 PM, at Boyd-Panciera’s University Drive Chapel, located at 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
Anthony will be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at South Florida National Cemetery, located at 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449.
For those unable to attend the Service, the family is offering LIVE streaming of the Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 20th, beginning at 3:00 PM. The link to attend LIVE is on the Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care Facebook page at: TRIBUTES OF A LIFETIME SERVICE LIVESTREAM

Tony was my best man at my wedding in 1980. We were great friends. I prayed with him three days before he transitioned. I will miss his friendship. Praying for his family that the God of comfort will carry them through this time of mourning.

Tony, I will miss you my friend. I remember in Buff Bay Portland, when you would come to see your Grandmother on vacation. We would play in the church yard, until they finished cleaning. Then we reconnected in the 80’s, and you always tried to tell me to give up eating meat.LOL, and we never missed each others birthdays and holidays. Sleep on my friend and take your rest.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🌻🌻🌻

Tony was a blessing, angel, and neighbor to our mother for over a decade. During the last days of her life he supported our family with presence, encouragement, and prayers. Tony and our mother were very similar.. strong heart, strong mind, caring, strong spirit, and resilient through life’s turbulence. His spirit will continue to live on in our memories. May he rest in peace. Our deepest condolences and prayers with your family as a man of grand stature transcends!

Sending prayers for strength and comfort found in happy memories to Bertha and family. I was fortunate to be one of Tony’s neighbors for over 20 years. He always had a smile, a wave and kind words during his walks. Tony will be remembered as someone that made your day brighter when your paths crossed.
