The family has decided on a private Celebration of Life.
Arthur spent the early part of his years in New Jersey eventually joining the United States Army and traveling to Germany for our country. Working in the garment district in New Jersey as a foreman, he quickly developed his craft of working in clothing manufacturing. In January of 1963, his eye was struck by the love of his life, Maria Estrella, at a breakfast cafe in Hoboken, New Jersey. It was love at first sight, followed by a wedding three months later on April 6, 1963. Arthur wanted children as soon as possible and a year later had his first son, followed by a daughter 11 months later and another daughter 15 months later. His house was full, and he couldn’t be happier. His dedication to being family centric never wavered. This April 2023, Arthur and Maria celebrated 60 years of marriage consistently dedicated to each other and their family.
Arthur had a stint with acting in New Jersey in his 30’s performing on stage in a local production. He never forgot the feeling he had while being on stage. After many years in manufacturing, he decided to move to Florida and try a new profession. Well, many professions later, he decided entrepreneurship was the career for him. Always a supporter of women, together with his wife Maria, they began manufacturing 1970’s pop fashion trends, soon to open three of his own retail stores. Realizing a void in the market, he eventually developed his own line of pantyhose for women with darker skin tones. He rallied in that feeling of providing for his family independently.
In his later years, he challenged himself as an amateur stand-up comedian, regular nights at the karaoke bar and graduating from web design school. He never stopped pushing himself to conquer his fears.
We are grateful we remained close to him, and he will always be in our hearts, and we will miss him forever…
