My farther is survived by Willie, his wife, myself, Denise my sister and my brother Richard, his step son Edie, three Grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and two
Great Grandchildren.
Growing up he was not the best father, but who is? But he was my best friend, at least until his health dictated otherwise. We were each others #1 son and dad. Although he was extremely tough on me growing up, I did deserve what I got and never blamed him nor my mother. We were best friends until some years ago, and I know we will
be again when I join him later. I never said it enough, and neither did you dad, but you and I both know we loved each other.
See you soon,
Your number One son,
Art Jr.

This is a Memorial site, not a Blog to air what we all think we know but don’t. It is a place for a statement of fact and remembrances.
As the Senior living male Shoob and rightfull heir, if anybody does not understand and cares to be informed about our Shoob History, I am the most qualified to address your concerns and I can be reached at “ASLinc2@earthlink.net” and or I will supply my phone number from there to discuss your misconceptions if you so choose to be informed and intelligent.
In Dads’ Love and honor,
Art Jr.

My dearest sweetheart, friend and lover. Over all our years together we were truly blessed to have unconditional love for each other. I know where you are and send my best to all. I know you will always watch over us. I kept all my promises to you regardless. I am sorry that the children’s stubborness prevented them from spending time with you in your last years. I know everyone that knew you will miss you. I will always hold a special place in my heart. Art, even you barber said “keep your teeth safe, when he comes he owes you a shave”. In time I will be with you once again. Love always Willie, your loving wife

Mr. Shoob,
I know of you through your daughter, Denise.
I hope you are resting in peace!
It has to be difficult to do with a feuding blog for your memorial. I don’t think it’s something that you would have wanted.
This is a time for expressing the good & happy moments that you’ve shared in Mr. Shoob’s life. Not how many times someone visited him or was with him during his last days.
Mr. Shoob is in a better place. He needs to rest now!
Things that happened in the past can’t be changed or undone. By living in the past, you are just wasting good energy that can be used for much better things.
The family should call a meeting if there are things to be settled and keep the Loving memories for this space.

Dear Grandpa,
I will keep the memories of the good times shared with you, always. I remember the compilation of jokes you put together inappropriate for my age at the time or not…still funny, the sweet treats that were always stashed in the bottom drawers of the fridge, the games of chess we played on the giant chess board, all the cool printing stuff you had in the garage, the stories you told of the old days and how you lost some fingers, watching all the videos from your extensive home library, riding my skateboard on my belly around the patio, making silly faces in the mirrored walls, always listening to your ‘mu-zack’ that sounded like an elevator tripGirl from Epanema comes to mind, how you always put your eyeglasses on your forehead just before taking a photo with your old 35mm, when you had to go to the hospital for your lungs Uncle Eddie and Uncle Richard had to pick me up by the elbows between the two of them and sneak me in to see you, the cake fights on birthdays, riding in the giant Cadillac, the bowl of assorted nuts that I always had fun cracking, taking my first dip in your hot tub in my tighty- whiteies, the candles you made me I think I still have.
Your final years might have been hard but I will remember you always as you were to me…. my Grandpa.
May You Rest In Peace,
Your Grandson

I love this, not knowing Mr. Shoob I bet he loves this attention! Even strangers like Barb V feel the need to comment. Barb V don’t you have your own worries beside lecturing everyone here and telling them how to run their family? Glass house?
