Azilde Altagracia Blanc better known as “Tina”, 64 passed away on February 15th, 2023 at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,Florida. Azilde was born on September 21,1958 in Santo Domingo,Dominican Republic to Maria Milagros Morales.“Tina’s” mother migrated to the United States in the early 60’s looking to work and offer a better life to her family. “Tina” was raised in Manhattan, New York by her mother Milagros and sister Xenia until later moving to New Jersey in the late 70’s to attend the all women’s Catholic Caldwell University. After becoming successful in attaining her bachelor’s degree in the arts/psychology she returned to Brooklyn to start a new chapter in her life.“Tina” was an active person which included school functions, sports, and family life. One of her most favorite things to do in life was to dance. In the early 80’s she met her soulmate and soon to be husband of 37 ½ years Edward Blanc on a night out to the famous CopaCabana in New York City. It was love at first sight and you know how the saying goes, “ the rest was history”. Soon thereafter, both “Tina” and Edward left New York and became residents of sunny South Florida and became married on June 5th, 1985. Now residing in Hollywood,FL they welcomed their first son Eddie Blanc Jr on Nov 20th 1986 and second son Eric Shayan Blanc on July 29, 1991.Many titles were held by “Tina” over the years, however the two most important of positions she loved doing the most were being a wife/mother to her family and being a servant to her Lord and Savior. In the mid 90’s she gave her life to Christ and became a member of the MEC Ministries Church which would span over 25+ years of service. “Tina” would soon become a minister finding a new calling which would include speaking the word to those who wanted Jesus in their life.Anyone who knew “Tina” knows how much love she had in her heart. Her ability to listen and give her best advice came whole heartedly and authentically. She will be eternally missed by her loved ones. Azlide Altagracia Blanc: leaves behind husband Edward Blanc, sons Eddie Blanc Jr and Eric Shayan Blanc, niece Stephanie Lopez along with other beautiful nieces, nephews and family.
