Basilisa Torres was born on February 1, 1934 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. She moved to Brooklyn, New York at the age of 6.
She was married to our father, Jose M. Torres who died in 2011.
Basilisa moved to her new hometown of Pembroke Pines, Florida in 2012 to join her 5 children.
She is survived by her remaining 3 children:
Daniel Torres with 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Leonardo Torres with 2 grandchildren.
Jimmy Torres with 1 grandchild and 3 great-grandchildren.
May she enjoy the same peace and laughter in heaven as she did on earth.
Visitation to be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Deepest Condolences to the entire Torres Family.
To a Very Special Lady whose steadfastly profound kindness and her perpetual strength maynot had been apparent immediately at first glance, but it touched many. I was a lucky recipient of such for half of my life after college until……., for which, I am eternally grateful.God shall receive you with open arms.
