Beryl (Sis) Leonie Craig , age 93 of Miramar Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep in the comfort of her home on July 2, 2024. She was born in Belize City, Belize, Central America on January 17, 1931 to the late Henry E and Alice F Vernon.

Beryl, worked as a Legal Secretary in the Supreme Court for the country of Belize . She retired at  the tender age of 5O yrs and moved to New York where she also worked as a Legal Administrative Secretary and Supervisor for a Law firm. She retired at the young age of 65 and relocated to the sunny state of Florida.

She loved baking  and decorating cakes which led her to teach cake decorating clases at the YWCA, where she was also a member. She had a cake decorating business in Belize.

Beryl enjoyed going to church , social gatherings with friends, attending tea parties, lunches and dancing. When she retired in Miramar, Florida she even volunteered as a Poll Worker for America Elections.

She had such a big giving heart for her church ,her family and friends .

She is survived by her beloved  son Stephen Heusner, wife Melanie Heusner and her beautiful grandchildren Lauren, Shelby and Stephen Heusner. Her adopted by love daughter BlancaRosa Craig, husband Curtis Craig and grandson Sean Oliver.  She is also survived by her beloved niece

Dorothy and husband Anthony Gray and her great niece Lizeth Gray. Her niece Christine Alamilla, nephews Henry (Kitty) Vernon , Stuart Vernon, and several cousins.

She was preceded by her only sister Rita Vernon and her  brother Henry H Vernon

She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her famous words were “I have lived a blessed life I have no regrets “. Rest in Eternal Peace Mom.

Visitation to be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 8005 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida 33025.

Graveside Service at Our Lady  Queen of Heaven, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, Florida 33068.
