I did not know Mrs. Jumper, but have read about her life and acheivements. She was an amazing woman with many accomplishments. I wrote a letter to Mrs. Jumper two weeks before she passed; unfortunately, I did not receive a reply before passing. I was/am intrigued of her life and how she rose above to become the first woman Seminole Tribe Leader.
I have been trying to research my family history for several years now. I was told by my father that his grandmother Anna Andrews was the granddaughter or great granddaughter to Tom Tiger of the Seminole Indians.
