Bruce Clinton Michener passed away on April 8 in Pembroke Pines, Florida, where he had lived for many years, at age 76. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Marta, granddaughter Vanessa Duarte, brothers John (Kib) and Steve (Sharon), and loving nieces, nephew, and grandnieces and nephews.
He was born and raised in St. Louis and later lived in Central America before returning to Florida. With degrees in agricultural economics from Purdue and Thunderbird Institute, he worked in various businesses involved in international trade.
Bruce lived his own life and marched to the beat of his own drum. He was a lifelong learner and could talk knowledgeably about nearly any topic. He was always interested in what other members of the family were up to, particularly the younger ones. His end of the year letter was relished by all.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, April 29th, from 3:00-5:00 PM with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 4:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
