Bryce Peyton Croye, “Chuchi”, 18, walked into the loving arms of his Lord, Jesus Christ, on January 30, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and bestest of friend, who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Bryce was born on August 16, 2006, in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He grew up in Miramar, Florida. He graduated from Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School and went on to attend Florida International University. Bryce was known for his character, hard work, love for the Lord, kind spirit, big smile, humor, rosy cheeks, and willingness to be a friend to all. Bryce was an avid lover of music, having played the piano since he was five years old. Within the past year, Bryce was learning to play the guitar and banjo- “Banjo Bryce.” Bryce was an Eagle Scout from Troop 441, a peer mentor, and loved playing golf.
But more than anything, Bryce was a devoted son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to so many. In his free time, he enjoyed vacationing with his family, jamming music with his friends, playing video games, and loving on his dog, Honey Belle. Disney, Disney Cruise, and the mountains of Tennessee all brought joy and happiness to his heart and were constants in his vacationing conversations.
Bryce is survived by his parents Steve and Carmen, brother Cody, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a community of friends. The Lord will remain near to the brokenhearted and will save those crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
A Celebration of Life is to be held on Saturday, February 15, 12 p.m., at Community Church of Davie, 6500 SW 47 Street, Davie, Florida, and via livestream, followed by a repast. Bryce was an amazing, smart, and loving young man who had the rest of his life ahead of him. I’ve always admired him for his beautiful smile and rosy red cheeks. He was an Eagle scout, accomplished piano player, and very intelligent as he was attending FIU. He will forever be missed and never forgotten. His Papa and Marlen will always hold him In our hearts. May he be finally at peace. Love him dearly and keeping Carmen, Steve, and Cody in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Bryce’s passing. I was so fortunate to have been one of his teachers at Parkway Christian School. His bright smile and joyful way about him, would always fill the room with happiness. God will be welcoming him with open arms. I am praying for God’s peace to wrap around your family.
