Byron Lagan, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and fiancé, passed away on June 5, 2023, in Boca Raton, Florida. He was 75 years old.

Byron was born in San Francisco, California on August 9, 1947, to parents John Bernard Lagan and Eva Henrietta Webb. He is survived by his brother Larry Lagan and sister Valerie Martin. He is also survived by his children Kevin Lagan, Jason B Lagan, Jason C Lagan, Lynn Witt, and Eva Van Dyke as well as many grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-grandchild that is on the way.

Byron started working for PG&E as a teen in California. He remained with the company for many years working his way to Gas Foreman. He retired after a long and successful career. Although demanding, Byron loved his work and was proud of his long tenure.

Later in life, Byron moved to Florida, where he lived with his loving fiancé, Regina Rosenbaum. Together, they made many wonderful memories and enjoyed each other’s company.

Byron was a generous and kind man. He was an active supporter of the Salvation Army, both through volunteering and donations. He had a passion for horse racing and spent many hours watching the races and cheering on his favorites. Byron loved his family and children.

Byron will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace knowing that his legacy will live on through the memories and love that he shared.
