Carlota Romero was born in Lima Peru in 1942 to Elena and Fernando Romero. She was the Eldest of 14 brother’s and sisters. She left for the United States at the age of 18 to provide a better life to her entire family. She alongside of our Father, Pedro Velazquez R.I.P. 2021, they achieved to bring over her entire family from Peru and my fathers family from CUBA. They provided freedom and better life for all!
My parents unfortunately got divorced when I, Paulina, was 13 years of age, Carlota Jr. age of 10 and eldest brother Fernando was 17 years of age. We were raised by our father Pedro Velazquez, we struggled, we survived and became independent and responsible at a young age.
She was a beautiful strong willed person who struggled but gave her 100% to help anyone. She brought joy to everyone who knew her and she enjoyed life.
Mom you will be missed very much! We all love you and we will see you again!
