Carmela DelMastro, 92 of Cooper City, Florida passed away on July 5th, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family. Fondly known as “Cam”, she dedicated her life to caring for others, primarily her beloved family. Carmela was born April 22nd, 1930 in Brockton, Massachusetts and moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1956. She worked as a teacher/guidance counselor for many years. Her passions in life beside family were music, dancing, traveling, singing and dining out. Carmela was a selfless, charismatic, compassionate, loyal and fun-loving individual.

Carmela was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Concetta Dantono of Brockton, Massachusetts; her husband, Hector DelMastro and her sister, Marie MacDonald also of Brockton, Massachusetts.

Carmela is survived by her sister, Rose (John) Maloney; nieces and nephew: Carolyn (Tyrone Powell) MacDonald, Elaine Ryan, Diane (Victor) Zarrilli, Jack (Jacqui) Maloney II and Susan Fernandes; great-nieces and great-nephews: Meggan Dixon, Angela Zarrilli, John Zarrilli, Anthony Zarrilli, Jack Maloney III Kate Maloney, Krista Fernandes and Stephanie Rose Fernandes and great-great-nephew, Abel Dixon.
