Charles Franck Jeanty was born on December 9, 1947 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to the late Albéric Jeanty and the late Sevérine Sevére.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and sister: Gesner Jeanty, Marguerite Jeanty Dorsainvil.
In Haiti, following his school graduation, he became a phlebotomist. He also had a passion for pictures and as a result became a professional photographer. He went on to work as a photographer for Banque Nationale D’Haiti and the official White House photographer.
In 1987, he migrated from Haiti to the United States where he continued with his passion of photography; capturing moments of his loved ones. For many years he lived in Brooklyn and the Bronx then relocated to New Jersey with family. There, he worked for Continental Airlines (United Airlines). Later he moved to Florida with his sister, Yvette Jeanty. There they opened and managed a family daycare center, where he was fondly loved by the children and their families.
He and his first wife, Evelyne Ceus, have one daughter Gina Jeanty.
He and his second wife, Josie Boyer, have two daughters, Conny and Judith Jeanty.
Before his passing on Saturday, March 27th, 2021, he affectionately reiterated his love for his family via phone conversations across the states. On his last day God allowed him to smile, laugh and reminisce with relatives. He will forever live in our hearts as a cheerful, loving and family oriented man. He will always be deeply loved and never forgotten.
