January 16, 1940~August 20, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte Ann Osborne Cormany on August 20, 2024, in Sun City Center, Florida.
Charlotte was born on January 16, 1940, in Whitehead, North Carolina.  Charlotte lived in Maryland as a child before moving to Miami, Florida.  She graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1957 and started her career in the airline industry with Eastern Air Lines for the next 30 years.  Following her time at Eastern, she worked for the Ryder Corporation and retired from sales in the airline industry with Aviation Sales.
Charlotte enjoyed church, doing projects around her house, shopping, watching FSU football and Miami Heat games. Charlotte spent time playing Bunco with her friends and going out for lunch and the movies.
One thing about Charlotte was that she loved her family. She was a supportive and caring Mother and had a wonderful sense of humor.  When her kids were younger, she spent a lot of nights and weekends at the ballpark watching David play baseball and football while Dana cheered and played softball. Once the kids were older, Charlotte spent most weekends babysitting her grandkids Erica and Michael.
Charlotte is survived by her son, David Cormany (Maria) and grandchildren Erica and Michael of Cooper City, Florida; her daughter, Dana Cormany McMahon (John) of Sun City Center; sister Wendy Renee Osborne Cates of Cooper City, Florida; niece Stacie Swartz (Jason), great niece and nephew Delanie and Daniel Swartz in Minneola, Florida; her Uncle George Osborne (Barbara) of Ennice, North Carolina and numerous cousins of the Osborne, Toliver, and Andrews families.
Charlotte also leaves behind some of her best friends Sloan Reece, Rosemary Smith and Marlane Ferreira.
She was preceded in death by her parents Winfrey and Mildred (Toliver) Osborne.
