Christina M. Bacchus, age 81, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on July 15, 2024. She was born in Higüey, Dominican Republic to the late Felix Montilla and Pura Castillo on July 28, 1942.
She migrated to New York in the 1960’s and married her husband Rupert in 1977. She worked in the medical field for many years then retired to Hollywood, Florida in 2005.
Christina is survived by her three children: Marilyn Balaguer, Jose Balaguer, Priscilla Bacchus; her loved grandchildren: Pablo, Marcos, Martin, Yasmeen, Esaias, Eliana and her brother Martin Montilla, son-in- law Elroy, nephews: Franklin Montilla, Albert Montilla, niece: Ingrid, and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband Rupert Bacchus.
She will be remembered for being one of the most giving, loving and caring persons. She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.
A Visitation and Service is scheduled on July 26th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel. 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Fl 33024 followed by Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
