I will always cherish the fabulous two college years spent with Chris. Respiratory school wouldn’t have been the same without Chris. He always made the most boring of class entertaining with his quirky jokes and always found a way to make me laugh. Chris was always willing to do anything for anyone. I even convinced him to get a pedicure with me… Once :- I was there when he picked up Crash-Monster from his airplane ride to Orlando and when he cleverly fibbed about the price and modes of acquisition to his parents :- Chris never wanted to disappoint anyone, and I can truly say that even now, with his untimely departure, I am not disappointed at all. I know that he chose the perfect person to raise his children and to cherish the time they had. I share in everyone’s sadness and grief and I pray that somehow everyone is comforted in knowing that Chris was an amazing man for the 27 years that he walked this Earth. It was truly such a privilege to know Chris. Rest in peace my friend.

Our hearts go out to you all in this horrible tragedy. He always was one of my favorite kids I ever coached and as you know there were hundreds. He was warm caring and a leader. Both my boys were blessed to have played and known Chris. He was always a man amongst boys and brought great admiration to your family with how he carried himself.I will always miss his smile and enthusiasm for life. Chris-
You were a good friend and such fun to be around. You made going to Tower Shops every Friday something to look forward to. You were so goofy and Eric and I just loved you. We all talked about you all the time and wished we would have kept in touch. I just want to hear your funny voices and watch you dance again. Please watch over your growing family and let them you are there. I miss you. I hope you know how many people you have touched. You legacy will live on through your wife and children and through our memories of you. Life is too cruel.

Chris was an amazing friend and even better husband and father. My experience at Ucf wouldn’t have been the same without him. I have many memories of the two of us that I’ll always cherish. Meeting mike allstot at the bucs training camp is one of those memories I’ll never forget. Football season will never be the same without his text messages every week. Chris always looked out for me and I can’t thank him enough for
introducing me to the love of my life. I’ll miss him terribly and all my thoughts and love go out to elyse and the little ones.

John and I are so deeply sorry. Our thoughts and prayers are with Elyse, Bella, and baby-to-be,
along with Chris’ family. We never had the pleasure of meeting Chris, but We have heard from the Lashleys’ that he was a wonderful Dad and person. We will pray for healing on the behalf of both families. He is now in God’s hands, looking down and guiding his loved ones. RIP Chris.

My condolences go out to my dear friend, Elyse, Bella, and baby! I met Chris only a hand full of times however, in those few meetings, he was an amazing person. He had a wonderful smile that lit the room. Best of all, he treated Elyse as if she were a princess! He was an incredible father! R.I.P. Chris
We will all be there for your growing family!
Much Love,
Maria

What a pleasure it was to have had Chris in our lives! I couldn’t have asked for a better man for my sister! He was a perfect husband and father! He was beautiful inside and out! Not a selfish bone in his body. He will always be in all of our hearts, and his legacy will live on through his two beautiful daughters and beautiful wife! I know Chris is safe in heaven with Jesus, and we all will one day see him again! I miss him dearly and pray god continues to give my sister the strength she needs to get through her days. As well as to comfort the girls as they grow older! Love you brother-in-law!!!
