Clotilde (Ticette) Massac-Danier

June 02, 1934~December 22, 2024
The life of a remarkable woman, Clotilde Massac-Danier.
Born on June 2, 1934, in Les Cayes, Haiti, Clotilde was the seventh of ten children to Hugo Beauzile and Eloise Felix Beauzile. From her early years, she demonstrated resilience, determination, and a deep sense of family that would guide her throughout her life.
Clotilde received her education in Haiti, but in 1969, she made the brave decision to migrate to New York, USA, seeking new opportunities for herself and her family. She began her career in a doll-making factory, her true calling emerged when she became a home health aide.
Above all, Clotilde was a devoted mother to her four children: Jean Wolfe Hyppolite and his wife Elma, Aude Chavannes, Mario Hyppolite and his wife Violene, and J.Carla Marius and her husband Stephen Hagamon. She loved them fiercely and worked tirelessly to ensure they had the best life possible. Clotilde took immense pride in her family, and her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Clotilde also cherished her siblings, leaving behind her sister Marie Rose Jolie (Fifine) and brother Raphael Beauzile (Mentor). Family was everything to her; she believed in the importance of sticking together through life’s ups and downs. Her love extended beyond her immediate family; she had a heart that welcomed everyone.
Three years ago, Clotilde faced the heart-wrenching loss of her beloved husband, Etzer Danier.
Clotilde carried an abundance of wisdom that she generously shared with all who crossed her path. She had a special gift for prayer, offering her thoughts and blessings to anyone in need, even if she did not know them. Her kindness and empathy were boundless, and her spirit radiated warmth and happiness. She was always ready to embrace joy and enjoy life to the fullest, reminding us to cherish every moment.
As we reflect on Clotilde’s life, let us remember her unwavering love and the lessons she imparted. The values of family, love, and compassion will forever stay with us. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit, wisdom, and love will live on in our hearts.
Thank you, Manmite, Grandma, Auntie, Sister and friend for all the love and joy you brought into our lives. We will carry your memory with us, and your legacy will continue to inspire us every day. Rest in peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family in the States on the loss of Aunt Ticette. Though I never had the chance to meet her in person, our phone conversations and the many wonderful things I’ve heard about her leave no doubt of her kind and special spirit. My family here in the Netherlands is keeping you all in our thoughts during this difficult time. Wishing you strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

Madeleine Romero and her family from the Netherlands
(Daughter of Raphael Beauzile)
