We are so sad that we can not be there for you all. Please know that we are thinking about you all and are praying for strength for you all to get thru this. Take Dallas’ strengths and love with you as you go on with life. You will all be stronger for having known and loved him. Love you all.

Uncle Dallas always spelled his name out loud by saying “Big D little a double l a s”. He was my favorite uncle. He love to play poker and work on cars. He always came to Kentucky prepare to fix his sister’s car I will miss him very much. God bless each of you.

You are all in my thoughts during this time. I have so many wonderful memories of who we all called Boweevil. I know that Mama and all her sisters thought of Dallas as a brother. Alma and J.D. thought of him as a son, although he was Alma’s nephew. Even though the miles seperated us – they always spoke of him and the family as if you lived just a mile away. We’re so sorry for your loss and want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this time of sorrow.

From the time that we met Dallas, we knew he was a special person. He was a man of great character, humor and love. He will be greatly missed by his extended family here in Arizona. We will especially miss him when visiting Florida next month.

Tonight in his honor, Pete and Dallas will share their last cold “BUD” together.
