Daniel Joseph Smith passed on June 3, 2022. He was born in Ballston Spa, New York on December 7, 1947 and grew up on the family dairy farm before moving to North Miami in the 60βs, where he met the love of his life Elizabeth Darlene Tinell and married her in 1969, starting a family that same year that would include Casper, Daniel and Jeanette.
Anyone who knew him would say he would do anything to help anyone who needed him, a true friend and an even better Man. He made his living in the Tree Service business his entire adult life where he founded Royal Tree Service which continues today to service customers by his Sons and Daughter. But if you asked him, he would tell you his children and grandchildren are his biggest achievements.
He is survived by his sons, Casper Smith and Daniel Smith, daughter Jeanette Conklin, 5 grandchildren Austin, Tyler, Brian Jr., Kimberly and Michael, 2 great grandchildren Audrey and Emma. He also leaves behind two sisters, Pat and Emily and a brother, George Smith, as well as many nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Tributes of a Lifetime Service will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
