David Drew Daley, aged 57, of North Miami, Florida, peacefully passed away on February 16th, 2024, after a valiant 7-year battle with cancer. Throughout his journey, he was enveloped in love and support from his cherished family and friends.
Born on January 21st, 1967, in Jersey City, New Jersey, David was the beloved son of the late Milo N. Daley and Sabina M. DeAngelis. Over three decades ago, he relocated to South Florida, where he pursued degrees in Private Investigation and Emergency Management. David dedicated many years to the Aviation Industry before transitioning to serve as an emergency manager for the Jackson Health Medical Systems, a role he fulfilled for the past fifteen years.
David found solace in the skies and the sea, embracing his passions for aviation, fishing, and diving. He delighted in the culinary arts, frequented casinos, attended music concerts, and held a deep affection for all animals.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pilar; loving daughters, Megan and Lauren; caring brother, Milo (Nick) Daley Jr.; and eagerly anticipated future granddaughter, Alani.
A gathering to celebrate David’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, from 5:00-9:00 pm, with A Tributes of a Lifetime Service commencing at 7:00 pm at the Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care University Drive, located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
