David, The past few days have been a whirlwind to say the least. I still still not cannot process the depth of hurt and pain from losing you so suddenly. It was the last thing I expected to happen on that Saturday so recently. I want you to know that even though you were my little brother, I looked up to you in many ways. You were always ready and willing to lend a hand, fix a problem, rebuild whatever it was that was broken or share a story. You taught me everything I could ever want to know about the Ryobi brushless motor battery operated tools! And Lord knows, you have just about every single one of them! I loved learning from you. The truth is, you were so knowledgeable in so many aspects that so many of us loved to bounce questions off of you because you more than likely had an answer or solution. As I look through photos from the past, I see so many characteristics of your personality, one being your passion for photography. So many photos of you with camcorder or camera in hand. I do believe your nieces get that passion from you. David, you were always a great man in every way possible. I’m so grateful that God gave me you as a little brother. Life is never going to be the same without you Dave. You had a tremendous personality, larger than life attitude with a big ole teddy bear heart. I miss you so much already and I always will. I love you forever………til I see you again.

I was sorry to hear of David aka BlackAdder passing. I have known David for almost 20yrs through gaming. Though we never met we kept in touch over the years for some odd reason either through e-mail, text chat or talking on Discord. We talked almost nightly while gaming. He talked about his family to me often and loved the time he spent with them and the visits. He was always there to lend a helping hand when I needed it with his expertise in computers. He always wanted me to be up to date on the latest games so we could conquer the fields. We had been discussing on what game we were going to take on next. We had tons of laughs while gaming especially in Call of Duty. David and his driving skills were not up to par sometimes to say the least. I told him the other week out of all the things you hit the only tree or rock on the map. My man was going to have whip lash and wouldn’t be able to help. He laughed and said he hadn’t laughed so much in a long time. I told him I hope you don’t drive when you go to the cabin in WV because there’s lots of trees and rocks along the way. He laughed and said he done his best. David always asked me about my family and to tell them BA said hey or good night. I will miss the late night gaming and chats that we done daily. David was a great friend and he will truly be missed. I always told him I told everyone he was my friend from FL that’s how everyone in my family referred to him. They would ask how’s your friend in FL doing. He laughed and said I tell everyone you are my friend from NC or I call you DH or DirtyHarry. We had some great times together and I’ll miss my gaming partner without a doubt.

Family I am truly sorry for your loss. David spoke highly of his family and the get togethers. We shared a lot with each other even though we were not family.

To David’s family, I am very sorry for your loss. I was shocked and very heart broken when I heard the news. I was one of his gaming friends for about 20 years. We talked and played almost every night this past year. Although I knew his real name was David, I will always remember him as my friend BA. He had a very positive attitude about life and always went out of his way to help me. We had a lot of laughs together and I miss hearing his voice so much. It won’t be the same without him.

Although I am very sad, I am comforted by the knowledge that I’ll get to meet him for real one day.

Miss you bunches BA!
