With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dawn Lisa Jomolca, aged 55, on July 21, 2023. She graced this world on February 14, 1968, in Hialeah, Florida, born to Linda Lamont and William White, and lovingly raised by her stepfather, William Lamont (Daddy).
Lisa dedicated 24 years of her life as a customer service representative at For Eyes and later served at VSP for four years. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her three beloved children, Frank Jomolca, Ayrton Jomolca, and Bryanna Jomolca, along with Bryanna’s husband, Yalain Alvarez. She also leaves behind her dear mother, Linda Lamont, loving sister, Wendy Chambers, along with Wendy’s husband, Bruce Chambers, and her Aunt Sandi Keirstead and family.
Lisa’s heart knew no bounds when it came to her children, mother, father, sister, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Her selflessness and strength were unwavering, always putting her family’s needs ahead of her own. Her infectious laughter, coupled with a penchant for sharing funny videos, brought joy to those around her. She was a caring soul, eternally focused on bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
A funeral/memorial service to honor Lisa’s life will take place on Saturday, July 29th, from 2 pm to 4 pm at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, located at 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org, which held a special place in Lisa’s heart.
During this difficult time, the family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to friends and family for their unwavering support.
Throughout her journey, Lisa embodied resilience and strength, facing life’s challenges with unwavering determination. Her ability to find beauty in the simplest moments reminds us all to treasure life’s blessings and find joy in the everyday.
In loving memory, we bid farewell to Lisa, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on our hearts. As we come together to celebrate her life, we fondly remember the profound impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her.
