I was Debbie’s manager at Pet Supermarket for the last year and a half. I am very sorry that I will not be able to attend her service as I am currently in Pennsylvania. I miss Debbie and her contributions to our team every day. She made my transition to Pet Supermarket so easy and I will forever be grateful to her for her humor, knowledge and leadership. Debbie had a passion for her work and for Pet Supermarket that made working with her a positive experience for our entire team. Debbie freely shared her knowledge to the team and provided us with a “technology history” whenever needed. One of Debbie’s most important projects of late was being involved in the Disney Institute and working on a cross functional team to define some innovations for our stores. I had many great conversations with her about this project, she was so joyful about her role on this exciting initiative. In addition to the passion for her work we frequently also observed her passion for her daughter Ella. She talked about Ella daily and was so proud of her talents and accomplishments. I feel truly honored to have known and worked with Debbie. My sincere sympathy to Ella and other members of Debbie’s family who are dealing with this tragic loss.

Ron and Ella I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Debbie for many years at Pet Supermarket and we had become very close. I am sorry I couldn’t make it to the service, I now reside in Tennessee. I will always cherish the memories I have of Debbie. One of my fondest memories was the day Deb had brought Ella into work when she was very young and I took Ella for rides up and down the elevator. Debbie would always call me when she received a box of candy from you and tell me to come to her desk and pick out what I liked. I have you and your family in my prayers. Ron my deepest sympathy to you and Ella.
