Dora Janeth Montoute-Howard, 66, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at her home in Pembroke Pines, Florida, after nearly five years of courageously battling cancer. Born on August 5, 1958, in Boyacá, Colombia, Dora was a radiant soul who brought joy, strength, and warmth to everyone around her.
She had a gift of turning any room into a dance floor and every moment into a celebration. She taught those around her. She not only taught us how to dance, she taught us how to feel the music of life. To laugh louder, love deeper and to always live in the moment. Her spirit was joy in its purest form and we are forever better because we got to dance through life with her. Her legacy lives on in the laughter, love, and strength she instilled in those she touched.
She is survived by her devoted former husband, Domingo Montoute-Howard; her three beloved sons:Alexis, Daniel, and David and her two cherished grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from at 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM with Tributes of a Lifetime and Prayer Service at 4:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. Fuiste a una verdadera guerrera en su batalla . Fuistes parte de la familia y dejaste tu huellas de alegría y gozo. Sé que el vacío que dejasteis en tu familia se va llenar con lo más bonito recuerdos. Vaya con Dios , Descanse en Paz Eterna.

Dorita, wow, wow, wow! What a tremendous and courageous fight that you put up. But you knew that Gods plan was always to have you join him to help care for all the children in heaven. God chose you because he knew how passionate you were about helping children. He saw your tireless and selfless plight and your generosity to all those in need is your legacy. I know that all those angels welcomed you with open arms. I miss you very much. Until we meet again “Dory”!
