Nahama, Dorothy Sarah, a longtime resident of Hollywood, FL, and Cape Coral died March 12, 2005 after a brief illness. She was 79 years old. Dorothy was born in Bronx, NY on September 21, 1925. She was the daughter of Sidney and Mary Alice O’Han, and the youngest of three siblings. Dorothy was the loving wife of Samuel Nahama, a clothing manufacturer in both Cape Coral and Miami, Florida. She was widowed in 1985 after 33 years of marriage. Dorothy was the mother of three children, Dottie Lee LaPrest, Victor Nahama and Mark Nahama. She was a loving friend, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Mark Nahama and five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral arrangements include a family visitation from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15 at Boyd’s Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. Boyd’s Funeral Home is located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines. Interment will be at Coral Ridge Cemetery in Cape Coral, FL, on Wednesday, March 16. A graveside service will be at 12 noon, Wednesday, March 16 at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Dorothy Nahama to the American Cancer Society at 3407 NW 9th Ave., Suite 100, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309.
