Edgardo Gomez was born on October 22, 1966, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Mr. Juan Gomez and Mrs. Ana Luisa Guzman. As a young kid growing up in Puerto Rico, he enjoyed playing basketball and had an affinity for playing the guitar. After graduating high school, Edgardo migrated to Miami, FL where he met his beloved wife the Lovely Lisa Marie Fontanez.  Edgardo and Lisa were married for 36 years and had two beautiful children, Damaris and Edgardo Jr. He was also a member of Iglesia Colaboradores del Reino.

Edgardo, always the comedian, was also known for his generosity, humanitarian spirit and the love for his family. As a faithful servant of the church, Edgardo would always lend his services to those in need. Edgardo’s memory will always be cherished by his wife, two children, parents, siblings Charlie, Awilda and Enid, nieces, nephews and numerous extended members of his family.

A Public Visitation will be on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 11:30 AM- 1:30 PM with a Religious Service beginning at 12:30 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Home, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33024.  Burial immediately follows at Dade Memorial Park, 1301 NW 136th Street, Miami, Florida 33167.
