Edward G. Cellini of Aventura, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the age of 99. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on Wednesday, October 11, 1922. After several months of declining health, Edward died peacefully surrounded by his loved  ones by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 45 years, Rosemary, the mother of his children:  son John; and grandson, Edward B. Cellini;  parents, B. Marcello Cellini and Liberata DiMarco; siblings, Dino, Julia Cellini, Nella Manes, Goffredo, and Robert.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Cellini; his children, George Cellini (Belquis), Edward Benvenuto Marcello Cellini (Mirna); daughter in law Nuzly Cellini; and his grandchildren, Eric Cellini, Joanna Cellini Anderson, Giustino Cellini (Jaclyn), Giancarlo Cellini (Nicole), Giovanni Cellini (Janine), Rosalinda Cellini; great grandchildren, Chad Anderson, Edward Antonio Luciano Cellini, Hunter Cellini, Gianna Cellini, Rainey Cellini  as well as wonderful sisters; Adorna Spertino, Josephine Baker, Elissa DiFrancesco, and Juanita Campitelli.

He was also the loving step father to Tommy, Andy, Kevin, Kimberly, Sheryl, Jason  & their children who adored their “Pops” Jessica, Robbie, Daphne, Jenna, Gianna, Damon, Frankie, Angelina, Brandon, Justin, Mackenzie, Noah, Luke, Twins Riley, Morgan & Kevin, Gabriella, Emma, Kayden, Jayden , Addison & Many Great Grand Children.

Eddie was an incredible human being who left his mark on everyone he met. He was a strong, proud, and good man. He loved his poems and loved to go to dinners, reunions or gatherings  of friends. He was a strong patriarch of his family, a good friend to all, a man who would give his shirt to a friend. He was a good father who always took care of everyone and did the best he could to teach and guide them. He is loved and will be missed by many!

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care located 6400 Hollywood Blvd, in Hollywood, FL.  The Tributes of a Lifetime Service will begin at 7:00 PM on Wednesday Evening. The  Catholic Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, May 19th, 2022, at 11:am at St. Lawrence Church in North Miami Beach, FL. Entombment will follow at Southern Memorial Park Cemetery.

I adored you! From the minute I met you & to this day you were My Eddie. I kidded Diane he was mine. My son loved you as a father. He went shopping w/ you to Publix & loved listening to your story’s.
No words can say the love we feel for the gentlemen you were.
And being there when you gave Lovely her ring. ( I got to wear it) I’m tiny & it was 5 #’s my finger size
The end & leaving you & Diane was sooo hard. You said you don’t cry often but a tear dropped from your eye as you said you’re gonna make me cry too. Wow what friends!!
Diane & I had been best friends for 50 yrs. My time has been spent wishing to be w/you again. The wonderful Italian restaurant you took us too. So much to say..

Eddie you are missed so much and loved so much. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. Give a big pet to my little Meka who just passed the rainbow bridge. With all of my love always.
