Eleonore Marie Bain-Thermidor was born November 15, 1946 in the province of Des Cayes, Haiti. She took permanent residence in Miami, Florida in 1977 accompanied by her children, Reggie, Irma and Herzen. She was married to Clarel Bain and had two additional children: Sabine and Stanley for a total of five children. After taking residence in Miami, Eleonore became an entrepreneur owning several businesses in Miami Dade County. She also spent many years working for the Department of Children and Families assisting thousands of families in Broward County. Eleonore was a very ambitious woman who spoke four languages. She completed her GED at North Miami Senior High School and at the age of 68 years old she obtained her Associate of Arts degree from Miami Dade College. Eleonore is survived by her loving children, 17 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 29th, from 3:00 – 8:00 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime Service at 5:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Religious Service will be on Saturday, June 30th, 12:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Miami Gardens. Repast to follow at 17601 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami Gardens, FL 33169.
