Elvira Altagracia Rodriguez
born December 7, 1952 in the Dominican Republic.
Chacha (as she was known by all her family and loved
ones) battled cancer for several years until God called her
home. She left us May 1st, 2022 peacefully in her sleep
while surrounded by her children Lourdes, Leonardo and
Yvette as well as her husband Manuel Rodriguez. Chacha
worked hard at everything and retired as a business salon
owner, cosmetology, fashion are things she will be
remembered by.
Yaya was the name only her grandchildren called her.
She was blessed with six grandchildren Jonathan, Janai.
Lylah, Joel, Leilani and Janelie.
Chacha was the daughter of Otilio and survived
by her mother Amada. Chacha was the 7th child of 16
siblings. She was a dedicated daughter, a reliable sister
and a loving aunt. As a wife she dedicated herself to
Manuel for 41 years strong and only her departure could
seperate them. Above it all she was a mother, the best one
at that.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who provided
emotional support for us at this difficult time. We are truly
grateful for your support.
