Eugene Casale Jr

Eugene Casale, age 93, a 60-year resident of Miramar, Florida, passed away peacefully on
June 20, 2025. He was a Christmas Eve baby born on December 24, 1931 in Brooklyn, New
York. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was
honorably discharged. He met his wife, Josephine, on a blind date and wed in 1958. He moved
to South Florida with his wife and four very young children in 1965. He was one of the founding
members of Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church in Miramar.

Eugene was a pioneer in media technology. He started at RCA, moved on to Wometco
Enterprises, and expanded to Cable TV. He ended his career working for the State of Florida at
FAU as a Media Technician. After his wife’s death, he kept busy volunteering his time at
Memorial Hospital with Mended Hearts. He served as president of the chapter for several years
and made many new friends. He loved to socialize with his fellow veterans at the American
Legion Post 92 in Hollywood, Florida. He served on the board in various positions.
Eugene is preceded in death by his beloved wife Josephine, his daughter Evelyn, his parents
Evelyn (Albert) Tringali and Eugene (Fannie) Casale, and his siblings Norma (Tom) Giove and
Doris Reeks.

He is survived by his sister Marie Miskovsky, his children Concetta (Ralph-deceased) Way,
Eugene (Sylvie) Casale, and Joanna (John) Bombard; his grandchildren Ralph Way, Steven
(Deena) Way, Andreana (Alain Morales) Casale, Gregory (Lindsey) Way, Lynn (Anthony)
Carnaggie, and Alexander (Nazneen) Bombard; his great-grandchildren Sean, Leah, Liam,
Loghan, Vincenzo, Landen, Giovanni, Lucas, and Eugenio.

His lasting legacy is his family. He always bragged about his children, grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren. He will always be remembered for the things he enjoyed most in life:
Family, Italian Food, Sweets, and Fox News.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Casale family. I never had the pleasure of meeting this impressive man, I know his son. A sibling is a mirror to a man and Gene is one of the best men I know.
