Underwood, Florence M., of Ocala, formerly of Miramar, entered into rest peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the age of 96. She was born on September 21, 1917, in Amsterdam, New York to the late Edward Wallin and Bertha Garrick. Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Underwood, Sr. Survived by her devoted son, John J. Underwood, Jr and his wife, Judy; her loving grandsons, Thomas Melissa Underwood and Michael Michelle Underwood; and her caring great-grandchildren, Tyler Underwood, Matthew Underwood, Emilie Underwood and Katie Underwood. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2014, starting at 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Urn Committal Service to take place at a later date at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
