Spampinato, Gaetano passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019. He was a 21 year resident of South Florida, relocating from Brooklyn, New York.

He had a deep love and admiration for his family. He is survived by the love of his life Maria to whom he was happily married to for 61 years. His 2 daughters, Maria Mannino and her wife Phyllis, Tina Kohler and her Husband Mitchell; his son, Vito Spampinato and his Wife Rose; brother, Rosario Spampinato and his wife Grazia; 2 grandsons, Milton Kohler and Nicholas Spampinato; 2 granddaughters, Liliana Mannino and her husband Yoseph & Mia Spampinato; 2 great-grandchildren,  Maya and Jovani.

Gaetano enjoyed gardening, caring for animals and making cheese and wine. He had a good heart and helped anyone in need. He will be truly missed.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 20th, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 6:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 21st, at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, followed by interment at Our Lady Queen of Heaven, 10900 West Oakland Park, Sunrise, FL 33351. May you forever rest in peace. I have good memories of you and will always remember you. A kind man very soft spoken who was a hard worker and loved his family. I bet my mom has already made s wonderful dinner to welcome you to Heaven. RIP
